Ursula Newman has given me the gift of music. As an adult, I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, but for one reason or another I found an excuse not to pursue my love of music. When I finally made the decision to take lessons, I knew Ursula would be my first and only choice. Infinite Possibilities

When I was growing up, all of my siblings and I took piano lessons. While I am not a “talented” pianist, I still love to sit down at the piano and play. I wanted my children to have this same opportunity. Whether or not my children have great musical talent, I know playing the piano is a worthwhile activity and helps them in many other ways they may not yet appreciate. Seven years ago when I was trying to find a piano teacher, a friend of mine recommended Ursula. I had heard her children play the piano so I knew why Ursula was so highly recommended! My children ranged in age from seven to fourteen and Ursula worked beautifully with each age and level. She was patient and encouraged them and always kept the lesson fun and stimulating. It is important to her that students appreciate and learn the fundamentals of piano and play the classics as well as selecting pieces of their own liking. She motivates children to practice and improve and participate in the recitals and other music programs that challenge them. Her enthusiasm and sweet personality combined with her teaching style and talent were the perfect fit for each of my children in learning to love playing the piano. Thank you, Ursula!

My family and I have had the pleasure of knowing Ursula for two years. I was unsure where to begin when my then 9 year old daughter showed interest in playing the piano. I called around to several piano stores to see where I could get lessons. After several failed attempts to get names of piano teachers, I was referred to Ursula Newman.

I called Ursula and my daughter was off to her first lesson days later.

Ursula welcomed us into her home with a big smile. Ursula’s fun and laid back personality immediately helped my daughter feel at ease. I was so pleased to see how nurturing and caring she was with my daughter.

My daughter, Faith, loves her weekly lessons and she has blossomed as a pianist. She is always encouraged by kind words and positive feedback.
